Privacy policy

ScaleSuit ("we") is a sole proprietorship based in the Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, business name, email, phone.
- What you tell us about your business during a free check or project.
- Payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic website analytics, if enabled, without identifying you personally.
Why we use it
To reply to you, deliver and support the services you buy, send invoices and receipts, and, if you agree, send occasional updates. We don't sell or rent personal information.
Your client data
When we set up tools for you, the work happens inside your own accounts (for example Claude, QuickBooks, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365). We access them only with your permission, only for the agreed work, and we don't keep copies of your client files after the project. You can remove our access at any time.
Service providers and data outside Canada
We use trusted providers to run the business, including Anthropic (Claude), Stripe, Hostinger (email), Google and scheduling tools. Some store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Every email we send includes our contact details and a way to unsubscribe, and we honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
How long we keep it
Contact details for as long as we're in touch; financial records for the period required by tax law (generally six years in Canada); then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@scalesuit.com. We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
